Shirley L. Lawson Winchester - Shirley L. Lawson, 87 of Winchester passed away Tuesday May 21, 2024 in Winchester. She was born September 10, 1936 in Mode, Illinois the daughter of the late Ralph and Wilma Hobson Engel. She married Ken Lawson July 3, 1958 in Jacksonville, he preceded her in death in 2019. Shirley graduated from Stewardson-Strasburg High School and then received her Registered Nursing degree from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Springfield. She worked as Registered Nurse at Norris and Passavant Hospitals in Jacksonville, and then for many years with Morgan Scott Visiting Nurses. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Winchester. Surviving are her sons Dr. Randall (Mary Anne) Lawson of Jacksonville; Mark (Laurie) Lawson of S Jacksonville; Kirby (Michelle) Lawson of Winchester, Todd (Molly) Lawson of Maui, HI and MG(R) Tim (Connie) Lawson of Colorado Springs, CO, 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, and her brother James (Glenda) Engel of Energy, IL
