Doris Ann Hoots Winchester - Doris Ann Hoots, 91, of Winchester passed away Monday, July 15, 2024, at the Scott County Nursing Center in Winchester. She was born Aug. 31, 1932, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Archie and Catherine Fletcher Gregory. Surviving is son, Greg (Jennifer) Hoots of Roodhouse; grandchildren, Dawn (Jon) Krebs, Zach (Michelle) Hoots, Josh (Molly) Hoots and Samy (Jamie) Arnold all of Winchester; 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was a member of the Winchester United Methodist Church. She enjoyed supporting her grandchildren at their sporting events, watching the STL Cardinals and playing Bridge. A private family service will be held. Daws Family Funeral Home in Winchester is in charge of arrangements. Memorials are suggested to Winchester EMS.
