Ila Marie HootsWinchester - Ila M. Hutton Hoots, 85, of Winchester passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy. She was born, Sept. 14, 1939, in Bluffs, the daughter of John B. and Maude M. (Bruce) Hutton. She married, Gary L. Hoots, Sept. 17, 1961, and he preceded her in death Oct. 2, 2022.Surviving is son, Brian (Sandy) Hoots of Winchester; step grandson, Cory Burke of Jacksonville; step great grandchildren, Michael and Lennix Burke; siblings, L. Dean Hutton of Lynnville, Barbara Gerard of Lincoln, John (Sharon) Hutton of Bluffs and Betty Kesterson of Meredosia; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings, Pern Hutton, Don Hutton, Bruce Hutton, Elda Todd, Kenny Hutton, Wanda Strickler, Jack Hutton, Larry Hutton and Richard Hutton.Ila was a member of the Woodson Baptist Church. She was involved with the Jacksonville VFW, AMVETS, American Legion and the Emblem Club. Ila enjoyed playing bingo and going shopping.A funeral service will be
