Sue Ann Sauer AndersonNaperville - Sue Ann Sauer Anderson, 77, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025. Born on July 31, 1947, in Champaign, Illinois, she was raised on a family farm in Winchester, Illinois by her beloved parents Andrew and Vera Sauer. While at Iowa State University studying Art and English, Sue met and married the love of her life, Scott Anderson, on November 24, 1968. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and faith, raising three cherished children: Abe, Hannah, and Ben. Sue was a life-long learner, a selfless volunteer, and a soldier in the plight for justice, devoting the 70s to a calling as a UCC pastor in upstate New York, the 80s to surrounding her children with love, beauty (art, piano songs, cookies and fresh-cut zinnias) and volunteer work, and the 90s and 2000s as an English and Humanities teacher at Homewood Flossmoor High School.
